Oh how long it has been!

Yes I know it has been FOREVER since my last post! I am not sure anyone will even see this one. Maybe there is someone who has not give up on me!
Anyway these are photo's from Labor day weekend. We had a ton of fun and I have a bunch more photo's to post but not tonight ( I am tired). These are photo's of how I spent my weekend. Either behind Ty on the little 4 wheeler or behind Steven on my 4 wheeler! Such a fun time!

Lesson learned!

As adult's none of us are immune to still learning life's lesson's and yesterday I learned such a lesson! I tried to have a party while my kids were on spring break(not something I will ever do again)! Some of life's lessons are hard, some are easy, some are nice, some not so nice, and some we have to learn twice!
In my opinion what we put out into this world is what we get back if you do good, good comes back to us. In conference last weekend several talks were on service. Why not do service? Why not help other's? So today because I am exhausted I am going to sit here with my iPad laying on the couch listening to my boys play with trains and list a few of the lessons I have learned!

1- Always twist a lid off of a pop slowly!
2- Never leave two little boys alone for more than 1 minute. Sadly this is a lesson that I have learned over several times and it has always ended in me cleaning!
3- Always hide any snacks I want to last more than one day.
4- Always look before you sit down to pee at night! Note: because of my brothers leaving the seat up my whole childhood and me sitting in water WAY to many time to count my house has a VERY strickt rule of "the seat MUST be put down after use"! My boys wife's will thank me some day! Lol
5- Always pay a full tithing!
6- NEVER and I mean NEVER work on Sunday! I have made this mistake twice. The first time you would think I would have learned but NO I had to try it one more time and even though nothing may go wrong on Sunday one day something will and you will be sorry you worked! *just my opinion though but trust me*
7- NEVER EVER pull a stray nose hair hanging out of your husbands nose out as he is driving down the road! This ends in his eyes watering and some nasty looks directed at you! Lol I still think it was funny though.
8- Never leave an unopened can of pop in a hot car! This will result in pop exploding EVERYWHERE and your cd player never working right again.
9- Always cover up a little boy when changing a diaper unless you want to change yours or his cloths too!
10- and always read the directions twice or even at least once before starting. You may end up re-putting the swing set together at 10:30 at night. (ok so this one is totally Stevens but thought I would share!) lol oh I love that man
There you have just a few of many of life's lessons!

Air guitar

I went to pick Slade up the other day his teacher caught me before I left. She then began to tell me how in the middle of testing slade stood up and began playing air guitar (with sound affects)! I started to laugh and then quickly realized his teacher did not find it funny. However I still do. I don't agree that he did it but I gotta admit it is funny!

My sweet addiction's!

I am ADDICTED to cooking, baking you name it! I love to make great food. I think I may be a tad bit obsessed. I seriously can't wait to get a kitchen aid. It is not a must believe me I still make some tasty stuff with out one but it will be sooooo nice to have one. The reason I don't have one yet is the one I want is big and expensive! But soon......  I love homemade jam so I have to make my own. The store's is thick and too sweet. I like to know what goes into my food. I love to experiment with recipes and try new one's. As I type pumpkin choco chip cookies are baking.
My kids! I seriously could smooch those cute little mugs all day! Rachel only gives me love if I force it on her (although I know secretly she loves it), Hunter tolerates my hugs and kisses (He secretly loves it too), and Slade and Ty are extremely willing participants in my smooching and hugging! They make me laugh at the funny things they say and do. They are cute as all dickens and wilder than most little boys and I love it!
This man right here is my biggest addiction! I start going into serious Steven withdraws around 4pm. He makes me laugh (yes steven is seriously funny) he is someone to vent to joke with and have a good time with. I can sit in the same room with him while he does paperwork and me doing other things and say absolutely nothing and be perfectly happy. Life still goes on when he is out of town or at work  but it is not the same till he is here. I could sit and stare at him all day (yes I know kinda creepy lol). I am so thankful for him!

I love movies! I am addicted to them. Great movies! I have a TON of movies. Probably way too many movies. I love to sit down and be pulled into a great story for 2 hours. I really don't have any type of specific movie I like more than another a great movie is a great movie even if they are old!

I am seriously addicted to taking photo's and looking at great photo's. There are so many fantastic and talented photographers out there I love looking at their work!
BOOKS! Oh how I love books. I could sit in my reading chair and devour book after book!

There ya have it! All my little addictions....

What if?

Today's post is my " What would I do if I had a billion dollars". Now I could have put million but if we are going to dream lets go BIG! And really who in this world has not put some thought one time or another into the question "What would I do if I had a Million or Billion dollars". We all have! So today I post about what I would do with a ton of money. Agree or disagree it is up to you we all have our own idea's and if I have forgot you in the naming of names on this list I am not worried because if I ever do get a million or billion dollars you will find me! LOL Here we go.........

1- A nice home! Not an extravagant mansion because fact is I hate to clean and really that is just added expense to have to heat a giant house. Something nice sized  and in all reality I wont be spending a whole lot of time there anyway!
2- A trip through europe with my whole family. Oh and a couple of nannies cause kids can be party poopers when they are tired. This will be a month or two trip so I suppose I will be paying everyones bills for that time. But oh man will it be a good time!
3-I will pay the salary to have an art teacher  in my kids school! Heaven forbid we should have well rounded children who get music and art! Oh and yes I will keep my kids in the same school. No private schools for them I LIKE my kids school! There I said it!!!!! It is not a charter or private school and I like it! I have made friends with the teachers there and I like them.
4-I will build a cabin by Pine lake in southern utah and I will fill the garage with 4-wheelers and snowmobiles so we can bring family and friends there and have a good time. I will probably live there all summer!
5- I will travel just to take pictures.
6- I will buy a house for someone who needs it!
7- I will buy a camper with a toilet because I LOVE to camp but hate to squat!
8- I will go on all the church history tours.
9- I will take my dad to disney land and make him enjoy himself! (he hates amusement parks) lol lol
10- Sitting here typing this I have realized one thing, the top things I would do with my money is # 1,2,3,&4 and all but one of those include my family sooooo I think I must have things pretty good even if I do have to squat in the woods to pee!
