As adult's none of us are immune to still learning life's lesson's and yesterday I learned such a lesson! I tried to have a party while my kids were on spring break(not something I will ever do again)! Some of life's lessons are hard, some are easy, some are nice, some not so nice, and some we have to learn twice!
In my opinion what we put out into this world is what we get back if you do good, good comes back to us. In conference last weekend several talks were on service. Why not do service? Why not help other's? So today because I am exhausted I am going to sit here with my iPad laying on the couch listening to my boys play with trains and list a few of the lessons I have learned!
1- Always twist a lid off of a pop slowly!
2- Never leave two little boys alone for more than 1 minute. Sadly this is a lesson that I have learned over several times and it has always ended in me cleaning!
3- Always hide any snacks I want to last more than one day.
4- Always look before you sit down to pee at night! Note: because of my brothers leaving the seat up my whole childhood and me sitting in water WAY to many time to count my house has a VERY strickt rule of "the seat MUST be put down after use"! My boys wife's will thank me some day! Lol
5- Always pay a full tithing!
6- NEVER and I mean NEVER work on Sunday! I have made this mistake twice. The first time you would think I would have learned but NO I had to try it one more time and even though nothing may go wrong on Sunday one day something will and you will be sorry you worked! *just my opinion though but trust me*
7- NEVER EVER pull a stray nose hair hanging out of your husbands nose out as he is driving down the road! This ends in his eyes watering and some nasty looks directed at you! Lol I still think it was funny though.
8- Never leave an unopened can of pop in a hot car! This will result in pop exploding EVERYWHERE and your cd player never working right again.
9- Always cover up a little boy when changing a diaper unless you want to change yours or his cloths too!
10- and always read the directions twice or even at least once before starting. You may end up re-putting the swing set together at 10:30 at night. (ok so this one is totally Stevens but thought I would share!) lol oh I love that man
There you have just a few of many of life's lessons!
