Alisha's Family!

So these are photo's of my Sister and her family! Her little boys are so sweet. I took them for her a few weekends ago down at my parent's home. Matthew was an unwilling model but baby Russell was great!

Day 2

So day one was a huge success! We started the day off with a fight over weather he would wear his underwear or not however after going around bottomless for about 30 min he decided to wear them himself! Score 1 for mom. After a while I spotted him doing a little bit of the I have to pee dance to which he asked me to put a diaper on him and in turn politely refused with a reminder if he peed his pants he had to change his own cloths. After a few moments he disappeared upstairs and then reappeared a minute latter to inform me he had peed on the floor. Well I went upstairs and it was right next to the toilet so I knew he had at least tried. Score 2 for me. So praise was given in abundance and clorox wipes were handed out to clean up the mess (yes I had him I figured if he didn't like it he wouldn't want to do it again). After that Ty used the toilet by himself every time. He did awesome for as much as I was gone yesterday. Even when it was just him and rachel he would still go in and go. Score 3 for ME! Ty was awesome yesterday so by 7:30 last night I could tell he was tired so I cut him some slack and put him back in a diaper. Lets hope today is just as successful!

Day 1

Today is day one of the potty training saga! So today I have decided I will NOT put a diaper on ty.

He is way too smart. Yesterday I tried to get him to sit on the potty and go. Now with the other three kids I told them when they start going in the potty I would take them to Build a Bear and let them make their own bear any one they want. Well in the bathroom yesterday I told this to Ty well as he sat on the floor he told me he wanted a new scooter too! Well wanting this to be painless I agreed (yes I was lying however if it works lol). Well then the next demand came in he not only wants a new scooter, Build a Bear but also a new bike! Yes I agreed (another lie)! Well Steven walked by the bathroom at this point and yelled in " This is NOT let's make a deal it's Potty training! Stop letting him play you! LOL" SOOOOO that brings us to now. I have decided to just not put diapers on him and maybe just maybe he will decide to go to the bathroom. So this morning I put some underwear on him and he got mad took them off and threw them across the room. Then he went and got a diaper and told me to put it on and I REFUSED so we shall see. Oh heaven help I will need it with this stubborn little boy!

So I may lose my mind. I am going to Potty train Ty! I have avoided this for the last few months. Ty has NO interest in potty training. Now I have done this 3 times before. My other kids weren't to bad. However Ty does not want any part of this. I take him in and he down right refuses to use the toilet. Now I am a pro at bribery all of the other kids I told them as soon as they used the potty I would take them to Build a Bear and let them make any bear they want. At this point I have offered every thing I could think of. Yes today I told him I would give him a $100 dollars ( only cause I know he wouldn't lol). I even went and bought him one of those little toilets he did not fit cause he is too big! Well wish me luck and if you have any suggestion's I'm open!

Oh how I love a great sunset or in this case sunrise! This was just before the sun came up.

So this Saturday we are getting family photo's done. I am HOPING with all my hope that my boys listen and smile! Wish me luck.

I'm BACK!

What a weekend we had! It all started thursday when we left to go to my parents home. My family was all meeting at my parents home for the weekend. Are weekend was a full one. Friday we spent just visiting with my parents. Then on saturday everyone was there and we had a blast. We talked and laughed all day long. My mom had bought gory tattoo's and she had WAY to much fun putting them on EVERYONE! Yes not even my dad could escape her halloween tattoo's. The kids carved pumpkins and got dressed and went trick or treating. The very first photo is my favorite though. That is my mom's cat Buckster and it LOVES Ty! This cat would follow and sit on ty everywhere he went. It was so cute. What a fun weekend.
