I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday! We have had so much fun. Steven has had work off since christmas eve so we have been just hanging out with our kids having a great time. We spent some time at home and some time with family. Some of us spent the new year in bed and others stayed up! Well I should just tell it like it was. Steven and Ty went to bed by 10pm . Rachel, Hunter and Slade stayed up till midnight with their cousins and had a blast. After that I put the kids to bed and then Me, Troy (my brother) and Holy (Troys wife) stayed up till 3:30 am Playing the new Mario Brothers on the Wii. We had soooooo much fun and laughed so hard. Three grown adults should probably not laugh that hard at a game but we did. I however woke up with a Mario Brothers hangover lol! I should not have stayed up that late. It was fun anyway. The top photo is the kids after santa came to visit.
Rachel thinks she is too old for this but I say you are never to old!
Hunter is just happy to get a gift.
Slade however is still not sure what to think of santa. He is still leery of santa.
Ty thought Santa was great! From the moment santa walked through the front door Ty started telling him EVERYTHING!
Christmas morning was filled with an abundance of fun and gifts.

After christmas we headed down south to spend some time with family. This is Ty checking out Grandpa's Bull and helping feed him.
Rachel heading out to go sledding.
The boys taking a turn around Grandpa's field on the sleds. Here's wishing you all a Happy New Year!

Oh how I have been slacking on my blog lately! I have been so busy with christmas I have hardly had time to breath. Friday night was Steven's work christmas party. So Steven's mother came and was kind enough to come watch our kids for us while we went.
She had gingerbread houses for them to decorate on saturday while me and steven were christmas shopping. They had so much fun. Esther is truly a saint to deal with this mess.

This one is Rachel's. She did such a cute job.
This one is Hunters. All the strings of frosting are christmas lights on his house. lol
On to Slades where do I begin I can tell you the vanilla wafers are a fence. Also this one was pretty much gone by the time I saw it.
And Last but not least is Ty's which was not lacking in sprinkles. Those were at least an inch thick. All in all they turned out great. Me and Steven got our christmas shopping done and found everything we needed. Plus we had a great time doing it!

My crazy weekend!

SO here is how my last 4 days have gone down. Thursday we started out with rachel's choir program. It was a nice addition to the christmas spirit. Alisha went with me and brought baby russ. They were really cute and sang some great song's.

Friday Rachel and I headed out for New moon and boot shopping. I must say New moon was really good. The mall was crowded but the theater wasn't so that made up for the busy mall. Rachel found herself "Awesome" boots (her words lol)! I got me some smokin hot little brown heels that are soooo cute (my words lol)!
Saturday it snowed so Steven broke out the 4-wheeler and pulled the kids up and down the road. It was a ton of fun we all had a good time.

And now we arrive at sunday! So for this years christmas craft we did Gingerbread men. The kids had soooooo much fun. It was alot of work and I mean alot half way through I was questioning my own judgement. But it turned out fun. I still have a bit of a mess I am leaving till morning. UGH!
One of two sheets we made.

Ty loves to snuggle with Steven. Even when it is not the most convenient time. Oh how he loves his dad. So all in all it was a BUSY weekend but alot of fun memories!

Nice outfit!

What more does a man need!
Ty comes up with some great outfits. The backpack he is wearing is one my parents bought me when I was little for when we went camping. I would pack my snacks and pop in it to take to what ever lake we would be fishing at that day. Well Ty loves it and fill's it with his match box cars.
Each year I do a different family craft. We have painted wooden ornaments, made crystal snowflakes, decorated gingerbread house's and many more. Well this friday we are doing gingerbread men. I am really excited! I love all the fun memories that come with christmas. I love mixing things from my childhood with things from Steven's and making some of our own. That is truly one of the best parts of having kids. I love all the fun activities Steven and I do with the kids. Which I am sure will include the little black backpack!

This is my house. I love the way the lights look. Now I realize this is a bad photo and the light's look so much better in person but it gives you an idea!
So when it snowed on saturday Steven could not resist getting the 4-wheeler out and pulling the kids up and down the road a few times. They LOVED it!

Steven Ty and Slade
The other day Slade spent about an hour making these winter crowns for himself. I love the one with the snowman on it. He put so much work into it!

I just loved this photo! It was so cute all three boys were having a sleep over in Hunter's bed.
