Hunter

Where does the time go? I took Hunter out the other day to do some photo's for his Baptism Invites. I will tell you one thing the kid knows how to take a photo (this is the hazards of being my child). I think his shoot was the fastest I have done. He is such a handsome guy. It seems like not that long ago we were baptizing rachel and I thought to myself "wow glad I wont have to do that again for awhile". Well so much for awhile! I am now in the thick of getting together Hunter's baptism. Some times I wish time would slow down just a little and let me enjoy my kids while they are small a little longer. However my handsome young man will be baptized soon and I am so proud of him!

I made it!

Well I made it through my first sunday as primary president! After church we all jumped on our bikes and went for a ride it was a ton of fun! We love the bike trail and will be putting it to good use this summer! I had a great photo shoot saturday. My crazy life!

Yes I am ashamed I am so behind in all my post's. I do have a good excuse though. I have had one thing or another for the last two weeks. Between scouts, school, birthdays, photo's, my house and being put in as primary president I have not had a moment to breath let alone post. It has been a bit overwhelming the last week and a half. I was called in and told last tuesday night after enrichment night I had a meeting with the bishop the next night on wed. Well that was the one free night I had with my kids that week ( I ended up canceling the next night so I could be with them). So wed night I headed to the bishops office to discover in a moment of insanity he wanted to call me to primary president well after bringing into question his sanity I agreed. And so the migraine began I was told they needed my councilors by thurs or friday. After many humbling hours on my knee's and one constant migraine they approved the names and we were off. Friday night my wonderful husband surprised me and took me to dinner at my favorite restaurant. Saturday I spent working on my website so I could get it launched. Sunday turned into a whirlwind. It was Mothers day as well as my Birthday and my awesome husband gave me a new bike for my birthday I was so excited I rode it for hours sunday night and after my day I needed a little wind in my hair. Ty loved the fact I had a pedal bike like him and he offically made us a bike club but we are the only two members (he was mad at the other 3 kids cause they ride to fast and wont wait for him). Anyway after church they set me ,my Councilors and secretary apart. I am very excited to work with these ladies and I think they will all be a great help. So on to this week I am still a little overwhelmed but very excited. It will be an adventure. I dearly loved relief society and doing enrichment but if the lord wants me in primary there is where I will go. My web site is up and going! supercross

Ok so the first photo should be last however it is not so bear with me. Saturday was supercross. It was the funnest and coldest night we have had for a long time. The beginning of the day was super fun we went into the pits with all the riders and the kids were able to walk around and get the riders autographs. Tons of posters and free stuff later we sat down in bench seats and watched the warm ups. We went with my brother Troy and his son Ethan also a good friend of ours Justin. We had a blast and laughed hard. Well It was time for the races to begin so we all went and found our seats and the races began. Then the Rain, Snow, and Hail began! And we got COLD! By the time we left to go board the train all the kids were shaking as was I. As cold as they were the kids still loved every minute of it. Ty was quiet the ladies man every time he saw the Rock star girls or the Monster girls he would head straight over to get his photo taken. The older kids liked getting theirs with the riders. Rain, Snow, Hail, and SUPERCROSS are what good memories are made of!

I am such a slacker lately! I have not been posting as much as I have in the past. It has just been so crazy around here. I had a awesome photo shoot on sat. check out Torri Bell Photography to see more photo's. It was a looooong shoot. We have Slade's Birthday this weekend and then his field trip next tuesday to the zoo! We are gearing up around our house for riding motorcycles and 4 wheelers soon! It has been a long winter and will be nice to get back into riding and camping. I am trying to plan Hunter's Baptism we will be doing it in may. When did my kids get so big. It wasn't that long ago we were doing Rachel's and I thought I had awhile till the next one. OH how time flies. Photo's from this weekends fun will be my top priority monday. I have save the worst news for last. My camera started having problems after my shoot the other day so sadly yesterday I had to send it in to be repaired. I will be glad to see it back and working again. I know I have a tendency to be a bit (just a tiny bit lol ) dramatic however those of you who know me well know that I am seriously going to be going through withdrawals till I have that camera back lol!

Get comfy Ty!

Each night after I get the 3 older kids into bed I finally get a chance to sit down and rest. Well the other night I went to put in a movie and I leaned 2 pillows up against the headboard to get comfortable. So Ty started to gather EVERY pillow in the room up and make himself a "pillow rest". Poor Steven came in and looked around for a pillow and there was none. So Ty's solution was " Mom you could share one of your pillows with dad! You shouldn't be greedy".

This past week Ty has had his GI Joe in the fridge freezer trying to freeze his guy. Well yesterday I ended up with a Pinewood derby car, Dragon, Ball, and a Match box car all in the freezer. So when I saw the two paper towels in there I thought it was odd but then so was the GI Joe so I left it with the other stuff. Well Steven got home late and opened the freezer to get himself an ice cream. Ty looked in the fridge and got upset when his paper towels were gone. This is how the conversation went :

Steven: Why do you need them?

Ty: Because they are for the ant's!

Me: WHAT ants?

Ty: The ants I will catch tomorrow and put in there!

Steven: Why do you need cold paper towels?

Ty: So I can pick them up with it!

Me:And what are you going to do with the ants?

Ty: You know put them in the freezer and freeze them! Then I can keep them in there forever. Cool idea huh dad!

Steven: (Laughing HARD)

Me: NO you are not putting ants in my freezer!

Ty: Fine I will just get the Potato bugs!

At that point it was just best to walk away!
