WARNING TO ALL MOM'S:

Kids are not always the most tactful of gods creature's. So tonight I was in the kitchen cooking dinner and slade came running in yelling "MOM MOM YOU HAVE TO COME SEE THIS"

Me: "What do I have to come see?" 

Slade: " You have to order this come see hurry."

Me : " What do I have to order?"

Slade: "This exercise thing for men and women."

So I walk into the bed room where he excitedly pointed to the T.V. And loudly proclaimed to the whole family "Look mom it's the it's a belly exerciser . You know so you can have a skinny belly and not a fat one!" So I looked at him and asked do you really think mommy is so fat that I need that? His reply was........ " Well yes look at your belly!" Now I really don't have a problem with how I look. Sure everyone can find something they want to change about themselves but I feel like life is to short and hard enough to be down on myself for how I look. I just try to look the best I can whenever I can! Obviously slade feels different but he's 5 in 2 days what do you expect. Now Rachel on the other hand was VERY offended by slade's comment. Latter she announced "Mom why aren't you offended by what slade said ? He didn't even say it to me and I was OFFENDED! So this is the point I had to explain I love slade and it was funny not rude.

Well she didn't reply for a few minutes then she sat there and said " Mom you must be christ like and I am not cause I would have beat his butt!" 

Ohh a day in the life of a mother!

So today I am trying to get my house cleaned so it will be clean this weekend when I get home.

We are going on the first 4-wheeling trip of the season. I am so excited! The kids are soooo excited. We cant wait (If you cant tell)!  When you are a stay at home mom it does not take a whole lot to get you excited. Any chance to get out of the house and not have to cook or clean I am all about it.  

Update! Well saturday was successful. Steven spent most of saturday working on the kids swing set.  I spent most of the day working on a bag for enrichment night.  So below are photos of the swing set thus far. Steven is doing an awesome job.

Good evening all! I am sitting at my computer eating a Andes Chocolate YUMMY!!!!!

So we went tonight and got the wood to build the kids a big swing set. You know the ones that usually cost $1000.00 or more. We are feeling brave and cheap. We did not have that much so we decided to build one for 1/4 the price. Now I will keep you updated on the progress of this newest adventure. The boys are so looking forward to the club house and the rock climbing wall ( cross your fingers ).

Good afternoon everyone! So todays lesson "Don't forget your bread raising in the oven". This is what happens when you put bread in and start playing with your Cricket. I was cutting some vinyl and forgot about my bread BUT don't despair! I punched it down let it re-raise baked it and yes it was wonderful.

I want to take the opportunity to thank all of you who gave me sympathy with my sunburn. I think we can all feel the pain of others sun burns. Yes it was my own fault but none the less it is nice that people sympathize with me being as my husband laughed at me. LOL LOL LOL

I HURT SO BAD ! My shirt feels like sandpaper on my arms. Yes I rolled up my sleeves and now I am paying for it!

So today was GORGEOUS! We spent all morning in front yard riding bikes and I was smart enough to put sun block all over the boys. Me on the other hand I put it on my face but not my arm's soooo yes I am BURNED. Well so I am posting a photo of slade and his ninja mask he made.

I was making strawberry jam and slade came up with scissors and that orange fabric and he wanted me to make him a ninja mask. Well I told him I was busy and he would have to wait or make one himself sooo he decided to make one. This is the results. It was so hard not to laugh but how cute is that!
