Camp trip 2010

This past weekend was our annual family camp trip. We had such a good time. Three days filled with swimming, fishing, marshmallows, dutch oven chicken, hotdogs on a stick, and good times! Hunter found a Horned toad to play with for awhile and Slade road the wheel's off the 4 wheeler. The kids had spent 5 days before the camp trip with Grandpa and Grandma. They had the best time with their Grandparents. They love and look forward to spending time with them each summer. They came home with Dream catcher's, Pocket knives, and fun memories!

SO I have now been sitting here for the last ten minutes starting at my screen trying to think what to type! Sure I could list every detail of my day however I would like to not bore you all to tears! Lets just sum that up with Kids, Primary, House work, Kids and more Primary!
Onward and up we shall go! I will now just type what ever comes to my head! lol Bare with me this may get good! lol
Hmmmmmmmmm I am watching the Bachelorette while I type! Can one really find true love on a television show? Obviously not being as the track record of this show STINKS!
I was looking in my closet  the other day and realized I have more black and black and white blouse's for winter cloths than any other color.
I truly enjoy my new calling as Primary President. It is different and a ton of work but worth it!
I am looking forward to going on our family camp out!
Two of my favorite things are to listen to the Sound track of Mama Mia while I cook and to read!
Photography is not a hobby or a job it is my passion!
I have the best time texting my husband we laugh hard.
I really love those Italian Ice cups from walmart.
That reminds me I think of going to Italy and Greece at least twice a day! I devour every piece of history and information I can on these places.
I HATE Magpies with a passion! They wake me up every morning squawking! GRRRRRRRR
I spend 5 days a week looking forward to the two days I get to spend the whole day with Steven.
I love my backyard but HATE to do yard work! Thank heaven steven like's to.
Vegas may be sin city but I have a blast there and don't commit one sin! lol

4th of July

We decided to go down South to my parents house for the weekend and it was soooooo nice! We visited and relaxed. Here is just a few photo's of the fun!

This is why I take photo's!

Here are just two of the 5 reasons I take photo's! Oh how I love those dirty little faces. There is just something in me that pushes me to want to capture every great moment. I get an indescribable excitement when I see the light is perfect and who ever I am photographing is in the perfect position. It is like a drug I HAVE to have my camera in my hands or I go nuts. I seriously can't stop thinking " if I had my camera I would have the perfect shot right now". I don't like to compare myself to this but it is the best way I can think of to describe photography to me. That was the top photo for me the other day. I was sitting outside with Steven and I saw the two boys playing and I could not stand it I jumped up and ran for my camera. I left steven sitting there confused as to why I just ran away so quickly lol. However he got it as I emerged from the house with my camera. Steven is my ever wonderful dealer. He feeds my addiction lovingly and with encouragement and photography equipment every time I need it ( and a lot when I don't lol)! Out of all the photo's I have taken I have a lot that are my fav's but the ones of my kids always make me smile the most!

Do not look at physical appearances, for they can be deceiving. Do not look at riches, for they are only temporary. Look for someone who makes you smile. Because sometimes it only takes a smile to brighten up a very dark day..

Now I realize it is past Father's day but I owe my dad this one!

Happy Fathers day to the man who I have loved since I can remember! To the man who to this day I think is the BEST at everything. To the man who Steven, Me and my children idolize. Happy Fathers day to the Grandpa who patiently takes my children for a week every summer and makes it the time of their lives! Happy Fathers day to the man who invented the pointy toes. And to the man who had the patience to braid my hair in tiny braids and put my hair in the tightest pony tails ever. Thanks dad for all the science projects and for painting my room purple even when you weren't suppose to! To the man who invented the name toreesta and makes me laugh seriously hard! Happy Father's day! Love Me!

This is what I was racing against the other day! I knew that morning it was suppose to be high winds and rain by 10 am but I really wanted to get my flowers in and my tomatoes planted (nope I still don't like tomatoes just like to grow them lol). So when I first went out it was blue sky's and I relaxed a little and just enjoyed being in the yard with the two little boys. However the next moment I looked up and this is what I see barreling down on me. At this point I kicked it in high gear and finished my planting. Above is just a few of the pots I did. The boys had fun and I love doing my flower pots for the summer. It's look good in my yard! Can't wait to BBQ this weekend.
