WInd and crashing tree's!

Well as you can see our yard was amongst many others that felt the wrath of the storm saturday night! Steven and I were laying in bed late saturday night when we heard a LOUD crash. When we went to the window it was dark so it was hard to see what happened over in that corner of the yard. So we went back to bed. Well the next morning Slade and Ty got up and decided to go outside. In they came running  as fast as their little legs could carry them up the stairs and into our room they burst!  Words were flying out of there mouth's in the excitement we finally got out of them that the neighbors tree had fallen and the gods were mad!  Now before I continue I have to add to the story the my boys LOVE the movie Percy Jackson and the lightning thief. So at this point they started telling us that Zeus, Poseidon , and Hades are mad at each other and made the tree crash. I started laughing and said they were not real. To which they told me "MOM can't you PRETEND"! They then spent the rest of the day out on that tree making huts and climbing! They will be so sad when the tree removers come and cut it up and haul it away.

Far and few between!

So this past summer has been bad for me with blogging. I have just been so busy with kids, Primary, and Photography I have just not had a lot of time to blog! I am hoping with school starting next week I will find the time to do quiet a few things that have been neglected because of summer. School shopping is done in our home. I have to admit though that Steven did most of the boys shopping for me! As for Rachel we made one 2 hour trip to the mall and was done! AND I even picked me up a really great handbag while I was there lol....... I have been doing a lot of photo shoots lately and am loving it! But then I don't foresee me ever getting sick of it. I am however having my 2 am wake up calls!. For those who have no idea what I mean I will explain. I LOVE doing photo's however I will wake up at oh say 2 am or 3am and get the best inspiration for awesome photo shoots I want to do! The next step is finding the right person to go along with my crazy idea's. Well I have had inspiration for 4 inspired or crazy photo shoots. I have all my models on board. Now we just have to set the dates! I am not going to give away to much info but I will drop one hint about each shoot 1) Stilettos and skinny jeans 2) Sweat & heavy equipment 3) A sheet and well not much more lol 4) WWII Old Hollywood glamor! My goal is to do all these shoots before fall or I will go insane all winter waiting to do them! I am still hoping to get a few more fun family outing's in before winter on the list :
1 Motorcycle trip to Cainville
2 Picnic and tour of "This is the place monument and village"
3 Motorcycle trip and camping to Delle
4 Photo shoot of my kids in fall leaves
5 One more fishing trip
6 And a few more great BBQ's in the Backyard!

Mother Daughter party!

The other night was the ward mother daughter party. Each table had to do toilet paper and napkin dresses. Well rachel was the youngest at our table so she got nominated! She was such a good sport. Me and Jubilee went for a 80's Prom theme on our dress! It was really a ton fun!

Camp trip 2010

This past weekend was our annual family camp trip. We had such a good time. Three days filled with swimming, fishing, marshmallows, dutch oven chicken, hotdogs on a stick, and good times! Hunter found a Horned toad to play with for awhile and Slade road the wheel's off the 4 wheeler. The kids had spent 5 days before the camp trip with Grandpa and Grandma. They had the best time with their Grandparents. They love and look forward to spending time with them each summer. They came home with Dream catcher's, Pocket knives, and fun memories!

SO I have now been sitting here for the last ten minutes starting at my screen trying to think what to type! Sure I could list every detail of my day however I would like to not bore you all to tears! Lets just sum that up with Kids, Primary, House work, Kids and more Primary!
Onward and up we shall go! I will now just type what ever comes to my head! lol Bare with me this may get good! lol
Hmmmmmmmmm I am watching the Bachelorette while I type! Can one really find true love on a television show? Obviously not being as the track record of this show STINKS!
I was looking in my closet  the other day and realized I have more black and black and white blouse's for winter cloths than any other color.
I truly enjoy my new calling as Primary President. It is different and a ton of work but worth it!
I am looking forward to going on our family camp out!
Two of my favorite things are to listen to the Sound track of Mama Mia while I cook and to read!
Photography is not a hobby or a job it is my passion!
I have the best time texting my husband we laugh hard.
I really love those Italian Ice cups from walmart.
That reminds me I think of going to Italy and Greece at least twice a day! I devour every piece of history and information I can on these places.
I HATE Magpies with a passion! They wake me up every morning squawking! GRRRRRRRR
I spend 5 days a week looking forward to the two days I get to spend the whole day with Steven.
I love my backyard but HATE to do yard work! Thank heaven steven like's to.
Vegas may be sin city but I have a blast there and don't commit one sin! lol

4th of July

We decided to go down South to my parents house for the weekend and it was soooooo nice! We visited and relaxed. Here is just a few photo's of the fun!

This is why I take photo's!

Here are just two of the 5 reasons I take photo's! Oh how I love those dirty little faces. There is just something in me that pushes me to want to capture every great moment. I get an indescribable excitement when I see the light is perfect and who ever I am photographing is in the perfect position. It is like a drug I HAVE to have my camera in my hands or I go nuts. I seriously can't stop thinking " if I had my camera I would have the perfect shot right now". I don't like to compare myself to this but it is the best way I can think of to describe photography to me. That was the top photo for me the other day. I was sitting outside with Steven and I saw the two boys playing and I could not stand it I jumped up and ran for my camera. I left steven sitting there confused as to why I just ran away so quickly lol. However he got it as I emerged from the house with my camera. Steven is my ever wonderful dealer. He feeds my addiction lovingly and with encouragement and photography equipment every time I need it ( and a lot when I don't lol)! Out of all the photo's I have taken I have a lot that are my fav's but the ones of my kids always make me smile the most!
