I am such a slacker lately! I have not been posting as much as I have in the past. It has just been so crazy around here. I had a awesome photo shoot on sat. check out Torri Bell Photography to see more photo's. It was a looooong shoot. We have Slade's Birthday this weekend and then his field trip next tuesday to the zoo! We are gearing up around our house for riding motorcycles and 4 wheelers soon! It has been a long winter and will be nice to get back into riding and camping. I am trying to plan Hunter's Baptism we will be doing it in may. When did my kids get so big. It wasn't that long ago we were doing Rachel's and I thought I had awhile till the next one. OH how time flies. Photo's from this weekends fun will be my top priority monday. I have save the worst news for last. My camera started having problems after my shoot the other day so sadly yesterday I had to send it in to be repaired. I will be glad to see it back and working again. I know I have a tendency to be a bit (just a tiny bit lol ) dramatic however those of you who know me well know that I am seriously going to be going through withdrawals till I have that camera back lol!

Get comfy Ty!

Each night after I get the 3 older kids into bed I finally get a chance to sit down and rest. Well the other night I went to put in a movie and I leaned 2 pillows up against the headboard to get comfortable. So Ty started to gather EVERY pillow in the room up and make himself a "pillow rest". Poor Steven came in and looked around for a pillow and there was none. So Ty's solution was " Mom you could share one of your pillows with dad! You shouldn't be greedy".

This past week Ty has had his GI Joe in the fridge freezer trying to freeze his guy. Well yesterday I ended up with a Pinewood derby car, Dragon, Ball, and a Match box car all in the freezer. So when I saw the two paper towels in there I thought it was odd but then so was the GI Joe so I left it with the other stuff. Well Steven got home late and opened the freezer to get himself an ice cream. Ty looked in the fridge and got upset when his paper towels were gone. This is how the conversation went :

Steven: Why do you need them?

Ty: Because they are for the ant's!

Me: WHAT ants?

Ty: The ants I will catch tomorrow and put in there!

Steven: Why do you need cold paper towels?

Ty: So I can pick them up with it!

Me:And what are you going to do with the ants?

Ty: You know put them in the freezer and freeze them! Then I can keep them in there forever. Cool idea huh dad!

Steven: (Laughing HARD)

Me: NO you are not putting ants in my freezer!

Ty: Fine I will just get the Potato bugs!

At that point it was just best to walk away!

Hunters's Birthday!

Hunter's birthday was a big success he got the DS he wanted and then used his birthday money from grandma's to buy a ripstick! We went to see Clash of the Titans which Hunter, Steven, and I all enjoyed (very good)! Cafe rio was soooo good as always. One birthday down 3 more to go in the next month and a half!

Happy Birthday sweet boy!

April 15 is my sweet Hunters birthday. So here are a few little things about my Hunter.

Two days before Hunter was born I was taking laundry to the basement and fell down the stairs and broke my foot. This put me into labor 2 1/2 weeks early. I had to climb up 2 flights of stairs to get to the kitchen to wait for Steven to come home. Then I sat there and cried because I had to pee but hurt to bad to climb up another flight of stairs lol. It snowed 5 inches the day we came home from the hospital. One week after Hunter was born I was carrying him to the tv room to sit and rest and missed the last 3 stairs and yet again fell down the stairs and broke the OTHER foot, received a carpet burn the entire length of my arm from sliding so I wouldn't land on Hunter. Yes I was embarrassed!

Hunter has always be such a quiet loving boy. He also has a very dry sense of humor which he thinks is HILARIOUS! Hunter is very competitive. I love to curl up with Hunter and read books he is soooo snugly. Hunter LOVES "Star wars" he has them memorized. Hunter enjoys great movies like me. He is an awesome dirt bike rider and loves nothing more than being on his bike in the desert riding. Hunter loves his Grandpa so much and looks up to him in every way. Hunter would live in the mountains if he could (he gets that from me lol). I have to admit I cant wait to spend his birthday going to dinner and a movie with him!

Why am I still awake! I need to go to bed yet here I sit editing photo's. For me it is addictive. I love to see how I can make a photo pop with color or soften a face so they look like they are glowing. I LOVE to edit kids photo's there skin almost glows. Those you can do anything to and they look great. YAWN! I am rambling good night! Oh I am reading the book "Wings" not to bad so far! I know I know goodnight!

where have I been!

Hello to all! Oh boy have I had a busy couple of weeks. We had the funeral last week along with family and slade's Dentist appointment. I have also been trying to finish my remodeling project which has been really had with everything else going on. So to say the least I am finishing cupboards this week. My whole kitchen should be done by sat. that is if nothing comes up between now and then lol. The kitchen look FANTASTIC all that is left to do is paint the hand rails and the bottom cupboard doors only need one more coat tomorrow. I cant wait to post the before and after photo's. Well on to this week. I have Rachel home for the next day or two with Strep throat. Slade has another dentist app on tue. Hunter's Birthday is thursday so I have to take snacks to class. Saturday we are going to celebrate his birthday. I also have to clean the house and finish painting and putting things back in order around here. Oh and a photo shoot! Ugh any one want to add a few more things.

So we decided to let each of our kids pick what they want to do for there birthdays so I asked Hunter the other night and it looks we will be going to see "Clash of the Titans" and dinner at Garcias (he loves that place).
