I will be renewed!

At the end of most days I am tired but usually still in a fairly good mood! I put the kids to bed and relax. HOWEVER tonight is entirely different. I am physically and mentally exhausted!

I suppose I should start at the first. Steven has now been out of town for 2 months. Yes you read that right he has been spending Sunday night till Thursday night on the Henry Mountains down by Lake Powell. Then he comes home for friday and saturday. Lets just put it this way I have a WHOLE new respect for single moms and military moms.

It is soooooooo hard to be mom all day long. This has truly put into perspective how much Steven helps me do. I have always told him how grateful I am for his help around the house. The fact that when he comes home the kids want his attention and want to do things with him gives me a huge break that I desperately need. And for that I am so grateful. He is now as I type on his way home to stay at least for a little while anyway. I think I have done really good till this week but this week has been long. Tomorrow I will be renewed I will have the love of my life home, I will have a good nights sleep and I will be getting ready to go on a date with my husband and NO kids and he will be home each night after! :)

Techno geek!

New's flash. I have never been a gadget geek. I have an I pod I love and my computer is a Mac which I really LOVE. However Mac announced today the new I pad www.apple.com/ipad this is now on my MUST have list. This little gadget is so stinking cool. I will be getting one that is as soon as I can afford it (anything Mac is not cheap)! Very very cool Mac.

There is just nothing more precious than a sleeping child!

So the other night I was reading a cousins blog and she had a new blog site posted on hers. This blog www.funfilmsforfamilies.blogspot.com is so great. She reviews all the new PG an G rated movies that are coming out in the theaters. This is a great blog if you are wondering if a movie is appropriate for your kids or you. This saturday my brother's and their families came to visit. It was really fun to have them come over. My little nephew is just over a month old and soooooo cute he is so tiny I just love him.

My kids have so much fun playing with their cousins. I got to spend the whole weekend with my wonderful husband. I am so totally over the moon, indescribably, head over heels in love with him. I know I know some of you are gaging right now. Well gag away! He is so awesome I will never be able to describe how thankful I am for him. Ok ok mushy stuff over! So Ty is sitting on my shoulders hugging my neck telling my " mom I hate it when you wont let me hang on your back" I hate it when he does that, I get soooooo claustrophobic. I am watching Home Makeover it truly makes you grateful for what you have. I love to read seriously I could do it all day long. I totally have to restrain myself. Steven gave me Undaunted by Gerald Lund for christmas. I had been wanting to read this since it came out. I have been trying to get through a few text books so I didn't want to start it till I was done with those. Well I was able to start it the other day and all I can say is I will be practicing all the restraint I have. What a wonderful book so far defiantly a must read for those of you looking for a good book. I LOVE to bake. I try so hard to only do it every once in awhile because if not we would all be as big as houses. However I am feeling the need to bake this week. I have not really baked since christmas so me and the oven have a few dates this week. As some of you know I have a very serious addiction. Steven has thought about getting me some help but isn't sure where to get it! I am a Hand bag addict! There I have said it BUT I AM NOT ASHAMED! lol I love a great handbag. I love the look of a great handbag. However I am running out of room for them. It is a problem when I started hanging them in steven's closet he does not, I repeat DOES NOT like them there! However he loves me more so leaves them there. I tell you this guy is awesome. So there it is random stuff that has just been thrown out there for ya! Hoped you weren't to bored. ttfn

Ahhhhhhh Just had a wonderful dinner with my ever so sexy hubby! Then because he is sooo dang awesome he stopped at target and bought me a bag of carmel popcorn jelly bellies. Oh how I love that man of mine!

Oh how I have missed you!

Oh how happy I was to see this lovely sight today! I grew up in southern utah where smog did not exist. Then I moved to the city nine years ago and oh how I missed the blue skies in the winter. I stood out side shoveling the driveway Loving every minute of this gorgeous sight! Then I went back in the house cause I have a head cold and was not doing well. But I enjoyed the blue for the few minutes I could.

Build a Bear

Each time we potty train one of our kids we take them to build a bear when they are COMPLETELY potty trained. Well it was Ty turn. He chose a cute Dalmatian puppy dog!
This is Ty rubbing his dogs heart on his funny bone so they can laugh together.
Here he is giving his dog a bath. He loved this part and took forever bathing it.
So on to naming his puppy. Now the other kids named theirs Rachel (scruffy) Hunter (dusty) Slade (leopardee). Well we got to the computer and I asked Ty what do you want to name your puppy? His reply was Dog so I asked are you sure and gave several options to choose from. To this he replied loudly no his name is Dog mom goshhhhhh!

So all is well Ty is happy to have "Dog" and plays with him night and day and I am over the moon to have my last one potty trained!

Oh boy was it a frosty and foggy morning. However we had a krispy kreme yummy! So everything was ok after that sugary goodness!

So here is another I did of Russell! Oh my gosh that kid is so cute! How lucky am I to have two baby nephews to squeeze all the time!

I am a little slow getting this photo up of my new nephew. This was him in the hospital and the poor little thing was so good to put up with me undressing him and posing him. lol Thats what you get when your aunt is obsessed with taking photo's. I was just breaking him in for future photo's. lol I love tiny newborns!

There is so much going on where do I begin! Hmmmm lets see. Steven comes home tonight YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! My cell phone has been on the fritz so if you haven't been able to get ahold of me that would be why. I am watching a commercial for aqua sand. Does anyone besides me think that stuff looks just like a BIG mess waiting to happen? I am beginning a BIG new adventure I am so excited over but more to come about that! My house is super close to being entirely clean. I just sat down and made a list of everything I wanted to do this summer with my family. Lets put it this way I am not sure we will have a free weekend this summer I can't wait!

Now I need to go finish my house work! ttfn

I am a Rock Star!

Tonight I am celebrating and I invite you all to celebrate with me! I was heading to the basement earlier tonight to get some items for dinner. Well I walked by Rachel and Hunter who were playing Karaoke Revolution on the Wii. Now Rachel LOVES Karaoke games and whenever she plays the Wii that is what she likes to play. Well anyway her and Hunter were competing so I asked if I could try they excitedly said sure and entered my name. Laughing with each other totally unaware that I was in the choir all 4 years of High school and also a performance choir. So I sat down took the microphone and remote as I scanned the song list I came across Pat Benatar's Love is a Battlefield. This was the song! I click on the song and the music starts to play. Here comes the words and here I go! I sing I mean I REALLY sing I hit all the notes right on key. More and more extra points I accumulate, bonus point after bonus point. I am done. The score pops up on the screen I am the new high score! In fact I am so high It does not even register the kids points. I turn and there is a look a stun on their faces. I sand to leave as rachel is complaining that I was not fair! Hunter however sees an opportunity and begs me "Please mom take my turn" "PLEASE"! I laugh and walk down stairs. Well the fun ended shortly after that anyway. The Wii microphone quit working again. However MY score remains. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

The Moral of this story is; NEVER under any circumstances EVER underestimate your mother and the Wii.

Steven decided to paint the boys facial hair last night! Well they all thought it was great but Slade. Which you can see in the photo below he was mad that steven wouldn't paint his nose red like a clowns the only problem was we didn't have any red paint.

Yesterday I did this little cutie's photo's! What a little doll.

Tonight I was in cleaning the boys room before they got in bed. Well as I was cleaning and the two little boys were in the background playing Star Wars. This is the conversation that took place behind me.

Slade: Ty come rescue the princess!

Ty: Come with me princess.

Slade: Good take her she talks to much and has to many suitcases!

Ty: Never mind I don't like Girls!

Slade: Yes you are luke! YOU HAVE TO RESCUE HER SHE IS DRIVING ME NUTS!

By this point I left room because I was laughing so hard!

In the hall I hear

Slade: Lets make mom the princess cause she is just like us guys!

Wow it's good to know I am just like the guy's.

So here is a little tip I learned last night. I had a leather handbag that got a scuff of white paint on it. So I went to the internet and found this tip. If you use NON gel toothpaste and rub it on the spot with a dry rag it will take to paint right off. You have to wipe the spot off with a damp rag after the tooth paste. It worked like a dream.

So last week we were at my parents and My sister-in-law had me do my nephews photo's. Here are a just a couple of the photo's we did. Ethan is so fun and him and Hunter are best friends when they are together. Also I put one of his sister and brother. It was fun to do these for them.

I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday! We have had so much fun. Steven has had work off since christmas eve so we have been just hanging out with our kids having a great time. We spent some time at home and some time with family. Some of us spent the new year in bed and others stayed up! Well I should just tell it like it was. Steven and Ty went to bed by 10pm . Rachel, Hunter and Slade stayed up till midnight with their cousins and had a blast. After that I put the kids to bed and then Me, Troy (my brother) and Holy (Troys wife) stayed up till 3:30 am Playing the new Mario Brothers on the Wii. We had soooooo much fun and laughed so hard. Three grown adults should probably not laugh that hard at a game but we did. I however woke up with a Mario Brothers hangover lol! I should not have stayed up that late. It was fun anyway. The top photo is the kids after santa came to visit.
Rachel thinks she is too old for this but I say you are never to old!
Hunter is just happy to get a gift.
Slade however is still not sure what to think of santa. He is still leery of santa.
Ty thought Santa was great! From the moment santa walked through the front door Ty started telling him EVERYTHING!
Christmas morning was filled with an abundance of fun and gifts.

After christmas we headed down south to spend some time with family. This is Ty checking out Grandpa's Bull and helping feed him.
