So these are my newest project's. I have been taking classes down at the mac store. I love learning all the little tricks and fun things you can do on your computer. I know how to run my computer but I wanted to learn how to do all the fun stuff. So this is the product of my work.
I did these without any scrapbook programs just what is on my computer and I have a ton more I have done. This I have decided is the easiest way to scrapbook one page takes about 5-10 min! I love it!

So today we celebrated Ty's birthday! We BBQ'ed in the yard and watched the kids play.
Ty loves to play baseball and he is really good at it (much to my pain). Well steven was throwing him the ball and I was filming and as you can tell from the video the ball came straight at me. Yes it hit me! If you can hear him at the end of this clip he laughs at me and say's "Me hit it harder". Gotta love being mom!

My baby is getting so big he is now 3. Where does the time go!

Well it was a fun relaxing day! We had BBQ, Dirt dessert, gifts and fun.

My Fathers day post!

So as you may be able to tell this post is about my awesome husband. Steven and I have been married 13 1/2 years. I am more in love with him today than ever. I think that is true of any great marriage. Each and every day and then year you learn more and love more about someone. My whole world revolves around him. Yes I do love my children with all my heart but someday they will meet someone fall in love or find their own lives and it will be me and steven. So yes I think my world should revolve around him. Each and everyday I call steven 4-5 times just to see what he is doing ( I tell him that, really its just to hear his voice and say "I love you"). He always takes my phone calls with a cheery voice even if he is in the middle of something! I still after 13 years watch the clock with anticipation waiting for him to come home each night. I love the fact that he still brings a smile to my face just seeing him walk into the room. What can I say I'm in love!

Sorry couldn't get these to fit on my first post. To see what these are all about read the previous post!

WOW! What a weekend!

So I don't even know where to begin. I suppose the first is always the best. It is good to be blogging again. We have had a busy weekend but a super fun one! Well last week we planned a weekend away with Kody and Jubilee so friday we all loaded up and headed for Wayne county. We got to Loa late that afternoon and decided to take them over to the dairy so their boys could see the barn and the equipment. All the boys had a blast even Kody tried out the swather.

Then on saturday we went to cainville riding motorcycles. We got down there about 10 am and rode till 7 pm . Everyone had a great time we all rode hard all day and all the adults were a little stiff and sore by the time we cleaned up. The kids could have kept going!  What a fun time we had and lots of smiles and laughter.

So the kids decided they were going to do a circus.
Hunter was the magician, Rachel was the trapeze girl, Slade was a clown and Ty was suppose to be a clown BUT got angry because the kids would not let him wear and do what he wanted. SO he became the angry clown.

New bikes and all that come with them!

So the other day me and steven were noticing that Hunter was Huge on his old bike. It was just way way to small. So with alot of promises on Hunters part we went and got him a new  bike. Well all went well for the first day or so but then all feel apart in one moment. Hunter had just got up to full speed and was flying down the side walk. As he approached a neighbors yard he tried to peddle backwards to stop himself ( that is how he stopped on his small bike) well with this bike you have to use the hand break. Well as the picture shows Hunter and the tree became close friends. Lucky for hunter I will not let them even look at their bikes without a helmet on. Well he got up stressed for a minute jumped back on his bike and away full speed he went. He is such a cute kid.  Oh how he loves his new bike. I sit and watch him fly up and down the driveway and remember how much fun it was as a kid to jump on your bike and ride as fast as you could up and down the road.

My bedroom is suffering and we are having the time of our lives because of it!

So each and every morning since school let out I get the kids their breakfast and as soon as they are done we clean house. You know the family room, living room, kitchen , Vacuum so on and so forth. Well by the time we get done we get lunch (we dont get up  til 9:30-10:00 I love it) they want to go out and ride bikes. Now each day my bedroom is the last room I do so by the time I get to it the kids are ready to go outside . So to say the least my room is neglected. It REALLY needs to be cleaned. Once my kids are outside they are there till there dad gets home and I have to start dinner. You know though my room will still be there tomorrow or whenever I get to it! I'm going to watch my kids ride bikes!

Raspberries and cherries

Last night while I was at the store buying my Raspberries I found fresh sweet cherries! Yummy!  What can I say I grew up at Capitol Reef among hundreds of fruit tree's. It always hurts a little to have to buy it instead of picking it off the tree in my backyard! Oh well you take what you can get . Well Hunter and Ty loved them they were a sticky yummy mess when they were done!

So today I made Raspberry Jam (Yummy huh)!  Now I don't know what it is about those bottles all lines up in row's on my counter that make me so happy. Maybe it is the fact that each one contains sticky, yummy, raspberry goodness. Maybe it's the satisfaction of all my hard work. Or maybe it's the sound that each one makes as it seals that POP brings a smile to my face knowing I did it right! I am making rolls for dinner so I can have some with warm melted butter. MMMMMM I can't wait!

Was life better or worse back then?

Lately I have been reading a book on pioneers and the settling of the west. It brings me to pose a question I have been replaying the answer to in my head for some time now. When would life have been better then or now? Now each time period poses it's advantages and disadvantages.
Present day we have technology without which you would not be reading my random thoughts each time you click on here. There are so many great things about now there is no need to list them all. There is one that I will mention " Modern Medicine".
I have read alot of books on pioneers and the west and I will say this, so many people died of simple things back then. It is always sad to me when I read about the amount of children that died needlessly. For things that we consider minor now. Also another thing is food. I have recently been reading about Joseph smith and the saint's being drove from place to place In the dead of winter. How often do we look at our pantry or food storage and tell ourselves how blessed we are. We don't! How often the early saints were left with nothing. Milk and vegetables if they were lucky at times they were down to just potatoes. Can you imagine setting a plate of boiled potatoes in front of your children once maybe twice a day and that is your meal. My kids cry if out of the 3-4 items I serve them they don't like them and want something different.
But there is a flip side! How would it be to be there for the early days of the church. To see and watch these things transpire before your eyes. To see a temple built from the ground up with your sweat and tears. To raise your family in a community that is filled with faith, hope, and the spirit of christ. To know the simple pleasure of sitting together talking and not being entertained. To know each other and your neighbor. To work with others to improve their life and them yours. To have the faith that you may not have alot of food but if you have faith and follow christ he will provide.
How many of us truly know out neighbors and would be there to help them in a time of need.
Can we send our children to the local store and know they will make it there and back safely. Can we send them to school and not worry about what someone else's child is teaching them.
Do we feel the spirit of Giving and Receiving in our daily lives?
Who are the truly blessed people? Where do you want to be? Wouldn't it be nice to still have that spirit of giving and love among us now!

Rachel had a sleep over with two of her friends last night. As they sat in the kitchen giggling over the brownies they just made it took me back to my sleep overs. How fun it was to stay up late laughing, talking, snacking and watching movies. What a carefree time. Just listening to them brought a smile to all who were here with us. They sleep in a tent and had a blast. I walked out to check on them and they all were sleeping so soundly. Pizza, Brownies, and Fun times were in abundance to all last night!

Dad's Little Helper!

You know for the last 2 1/2 years Ty has been my little shadow. But the last 2-3 months he has now decided Dad is better than mom. I have to admit it makes me a little sad only because it means he is growing up. Now when he wakes up he still runs to me and wants to be held BUT he sits on my lap and ask's where dad is. Now I know if steven was there he would drop me like a hot potato. I find satisfaction in the fact that when one of the boys get hurt it is still ME they come to for love better :)

Tonight I going to attempt to explain my love hate relationship with my cell phone.
I love the fact that my phone gives me comfort. The fact that I know if I have an emergency I can get ahold of help if I need it!
I hate the fact that my kids can call me twenty times in the half hour I am gone to the store.
I love the fact my kids can call IF it is an EMERGENCY.
I love the fact that I can call my husband and talk to him while I am out.
I hate the fact my husband can call me several times while I am out and ask when I will be home!
I hate how I forget my phone at home then need it while I am waiting at the school.
I love when I forget the phone when I am out and steven and the kids cant call and ask " When will you be HOME".
The number ONE reason I hate my phone is the DANG thing keeps breaking. Every phone I get breaks! Now it could be the fact that I never have a new one. It is always someone's used phone cause they just got a  new one. So yes I have gone through alot of hand me down phones. Now I just ordered a new one today SO we will see how long this one last's. It is LIME GREEN :)
So this is a little insight into my love hate relation ship with my cell phone.
