Pirates and pregnancy!

So Steven's sister Jennifer sent my boys a package of cloths that her son had grown out of. Now my boys love it when there cousin justin gives them stuff! Well this is the out fit Ty picked out a pair of boxers and a T-shirt. We had to tuck the shirt in the boxers just so they would stay up. Well I told him lets take a photo so Aunt Jennifer could see so he ran and got his pirate accessories that my mom had gave him last weekend. So Thanks to Grandma and Aunt Jennifer for the great outfit. By the way Jennifer we are on day two of the wrestling shirts!lol

So this is a photo I did up camping. This is my sister in-law Janice she is 18 weeks pregnant. She is just so cute with her tiny little baby bump I had to do this photo. It took a little talking to get her to pose for me BUT I WON hehehehehehehe I thought it turned out really cute.

I took one of my sister Alisha (who is also pregnant) which I will post when I get done!

So for all of you who read my blog regularly you will have noticed that I have not updated my blog in a few days. We have been on a family camp trip with all my siblings and my parents. It was a ton of fun. Above is a photo we took the last day. So yes we are all a little dirty. Also if you click on it and enlarge the photo you will notice the antlers rachel gave slade she thought she was super funny!
These photo's are kinda backward. This is ty as we were leaving camp. I told him to smile and this is what I got.
This was one night we put the kids to bed and when me and steven went in to bed hunter had rolled over on ty and was sleeping soundly.
This was so fun my dad was helping slade and ty roast marshmallow's.

Ty loved fishing and him and steven were the only ones in our family to catch a fish.
The other three spent the afternoon at the lake in the water swimming. They had a ball.
So the next two photos are out of order. My dad brought up bow's for the boys to shoot but as my brother and Steven stood and was helping them they could not resist taking over and shooting them themselves.

Last but not least our little family the last day of the trip. The whole weekend was filled with fun. We all put kids to bed and would sit and talk till late into the night. A good game of "The Newlywed" game was played. Lets just say this we all laughed and had a great time. I love times like this when you are with the ones you love doing what you love. It was nice to get away and relax.

This week all 3 of the older kids are at there Grandma Geo's so it has just been ty home this week. YES he has LOVED it and NO he does not miss them. Who would when you have mom and dad all to yourself.
This was taken when Mom , Dad and Ty went to dinner. Ohh how this child loves to get his photo taken and smiles as soon as he sees the camera.
These next photo's were taken at cabela's on our way home from droping the kids off in Nephi with Grandma and Grandpa. Ty was kinda sad he could not go so we brought him here and got him a pop gun. This was as close as he would get to the moose he was scared to death of it.

This is the most of steven's face I could get. He refused to let me take his photo there he said " I will not look like a tourist". All in all we have had a fun time this week. Let me say one thing My house is clean and has stayed clean this whole week. I LOVE it!

Ty's recorder!

Yesterday we went out to my Grandma's house and Grandma Judy gave Ty a recorder. He loves it and played it allllllll night. Well that was such a treat to listen to Ty play wonderful music the rest of the day! So here you go Grandma Judy we thought we would share the music!

Rachel's pink hair!

So rachel DEARLY wanted pink hair but only for a week or so. As most of you know that is just not how hair dye works. So I went to the beauty store and found these cute hair extensions. We clipped them on and presto pink hair! Now she can have her fun for a week or two and dad wont freak out! lol

I love to Read!

Ok everyone Summer is half over but for those of you who are looking for another great summer read I have put a few of my favorite book on here. A few common things these book share are they are all LDS fiction most are series but a few are not. Also all of these are set in the early days of the church so the are all historical.

Ok these first four books are all by the same author Annette Lyon.

They are all great my very favorite is "House on the hill". "At Journey's end" follows only one character from the first book. You do not have to read both but they are both so great I suggest it.
Now the next two have nothing to do with the first two. Both are great!

These are not a series but each book as you can tell takes place around different utah temples. I have nothing but praise for each book.


Ok this series is so great this is the story of a true family that meet and follow Joseph Smith in the beginning of the church. These books made me cheer and cry right along with the family it tells about, they are really fabulous. Just a side note the next book in this series will be out in Aug

Now for my FAVORITE books I saved the best for last! This set is wonderful it pulled me in and I could not stop till I had devoured every page of these books. There is four books to this set I just could not get a photo for book 3. It is "The Topaz" it goes between "The Emerald" and "The Ruby". I dearly love these books and have read them several times.

I LOVE to read and have read Hundreds of books (literally) lol. I have soooo many favorites. I think I will list more at a latter time. If anyone has any questions on these books or any others please feel free to ask "I have probably read it"!

Brother's and Best Friends!

So last night was girls night. So I put all the boys to bed. Rachel got things ready and here we go! This was the movie. It was really cute and some places I may have related to a little to well. LOL
These were the snacks! Fruit dip with all the fixins. However the airhead was all rachels!

Yesterday was a fun day! We went riding motorbikes and 4-wheelers with my brother and his family. We had a ton of fun. Steven had just purchased a new shade to take riding and camping. I was a really nice one. Well he took it and set it up well for about an hour or two it was great and then one of those utah microbursts came up and took it and broke all 4 legs. He thinks he can fix and I have TOTAL faith in him. Yesterday was the first time slade has rode his motorbike without his training wheels. He did great he tipped over once and then away he went and never stopped. He rode just as fast and hard as the other boys and never let them get to far away from him. Anyway here are some fun photos of the day.

I know I have put two things on today but I left slades ninja moves below here! I am not sure when this water fight turned against steven but he held his own against 4 kids!

So yesterday slade was on the deck and I look out and he is meditating! Yes meditating so I asked him what he was doing and he told me it was part of his ninja training. Then he proceeded to show me ALL of his ninja moves and have me take photo's of (Again) ALL of them. Now let me explain the first photo. This photo took 10 shot's to get as you can see slade was standing about 3-4 feet away and wanted me to take a photo of the sword as he threw it. As you can see each throw was directed at me ( that was fun). After each photo he would have to come look at what I had just taken to see if it looked cool! I love being mom!

It's late it is 11 pm and here I sit at my computer. Tonight was enrichment night for those who don't know I am over enrichment. Anyway as I was cleaning up tonight and the older sisters in our ward are always so appreciative and were coming up thanking me for my work on tonight's activity when out of the blue a friend of mine in the ward came up to me and gave me a block with the word Simplify wrote on it in vinyl. It was so nice of her. She told me it was because I always tell her whatever we are doing is easy and she can do it! I have always been grateful for my calling "I love it". I love to interact with the sisters each month. Tonight made it worth all the hard work. It reinforces that people are appreciative of what we do each month! So tonight I am thankful for all the sisters in my ward and I am thankful that what we do each month makes a difference to them!

Saturday was so much fun for our family we went to the parade that morning. Then after that we took the kids to the park to play kick ball. We had so much fun and wore ourselves out.

After that we went home and the kids got in their swim suits and they helped steven fill water balloons I got some really great video of the water fight that ended up being a war against steven. I am making it into a movie and will post latter. After the water fight the kids just played with the hose on the slide and made the own water slide. Me and steven relaxed. It was the best! Latter that night we BBQ and our friend Jubilee and her two boys came over and watched fireworks and enjoyed steak with us. Rachel will be soooo glad when her friend kenza gets home all there is is boys around! I love weekend like this.
